Our fully renovated, modest studio apartments are perfect for travelers seeking a simple, clean, and functional space to rest and recharge. Whether you’re here for business, a weekend getaway, or extended stay, Uptown Inn is designed to give you the essentials for a comfortable stay in one of San Diego's most dynamic neighborhoods.


If you are looking to staying longer than a few days, our apart-hotel is well suited for just that. While our rooms are rather compact, our building offers a fully equipped shared kitchen as well as a coin operated laundry room, and common areas. The walking proximity to coffee shops and grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Ralph's also makes longer stays all the more convenient when staying with us!

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

This hotel nails the basics: its central location is spot-on for exploring San Diego, rooms are updated (love the fun wallpaper and bathroom tiling), and they've got secure parking if you're driving (worth purchasing since parking is difficult in the busy area). It's no-frills, but perfect if you're looking for a comfortable, central place to stay. Definitely recommend!

Great value and location! Clean rooms, friendly staff. Block away from Wholefoods and other great restaurants. The city is being revamped and feels safe.
